ONBOARDING NEW CUSTOMERS
American Livestock Management is proud to be the only vendor in the industry to come onsite and do the full install in person. We do not ship you equipment and hope you can get it installed. One of our experienced technicians will be onsite to handle the entire install. We will also have at least 1 office staff in person for your first sale. Changing out this system is a major undertaking, we will ensure it goes as smoothly as possible.
ALM does not use any proprietary equipment. The system runs on any PC running Windows 7 or higher. No more Dot Matrix Printers!! The ALM system uses normal laserjet printers as well as thermal receipt printers for scale tickets. All the devices can be purchased from any local vendor or online. ALM will provide computers and printers if requested but you are not limited to our selection. If you choose to use a local business for hardware we can work with them to ensure you get what you need and we will come onsite and install their equipment at no charge.
In fact, there is no setup charge at all!! Most equipment needed to run the system is included for with the system for free. You only need to purchase your computers, printers, and any new displays.
Typically we come in 3-4 days in advance of your first sale for the initial installation. The day before your first sale we will have an extensive training session for everyone who uses the system. You should plan 4-6 hours for this training session. We will then be onsite for your first sale as well. 24/7 Remote support available following the installation.
